Scar Repair Treatments with Dermapen

4Ruth Eaton
I use DermaPen therapy because I believe it is the UK’s leading non-surgical skin regeneration treatment due to its effectiveness and safety. Most of my clients notice an improvement in skin texture and quality within a week, particularly in reducing fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, pigmentation - even stretch marks and delicate eye areas.

Ruth Eaton is delighted to introduce a new skin rejuvenation therapy, Derma Needling. This treatment prompts the natural release of the skin’s collagen and elastin for amazing anti-aging benefits, all without surgery.

As we age, the natural production of the skin’s supporting cells, fibroblasts, and the skin’s collagen and elastin, naturally diminish leading to wrinkles, sagging and hollows. Stimulating the skin to produce more fibroblasts, collagen and elastin is called collagen induction therapy and is used as an alternative to facelifts and other surgical anti aging interventions.

This type of skin needling collagen induction therapy can be used for:

  • Skin tightening, lifting and rejuvenation
  • Acne scars and wound healing
  • Improvement in wrinkles and fine lines
  • Pigmentation
  • Stretch marks
  • Minimise pore size

Derma Needling takes this effective collagen induction therapy to the next level, giving amazing results with less damage, less pain and less recovery time. The older Dermaroller penetrates the skin at an angle, meaning it causes more damage, and is difficult to use on scar tissue and on facial curves.

Derma Needling’s micro needles penetrate vertically, solving all these issues while still providing an excellent therapeutic result. Plus, the automatic vibrating function of the Derma Needling increases the effectiveness of the treatment by increasing the absorption of serums, while reducing pain and discomfort.

Ruth Eaton happily reports that the Derma Needling is just as effective as ablative skin rejuvenation treatments such as fraxel, IPL, laser resurfacing and chemical peels, but without the significant costs or extended recovery time.

The Derma Needling penetrates the skin from 20 to 90 times per second with an adjustable speed, and from a .25mm to 1mm depth, depending on the area being treated.

Skin needling at the Ruth Eaton Clinic with Derma Needling is undertaken with minimal discomfort and anaesthetic cream can be used prior. It is quick, taking only 5-10 minutes per treated area, and the benefits can be life changing from those suffering from prominent acne or other scarring.

I researched and spoke to a frustratingly large number of clinics around Essex before I had a consultation with Ruth about my acne scarring. Not only did she seem to care but she was able to set my mind at rest about the best treatment for me. She was right and has transformed my face and neck. I would recommend her to family and friends without a doubt.
